Since the business originated from Paul Abbey, Michael’s father, PAR has adapted to the modern challenges of building visibility in the huge industry of commercial refrigeration. The company was one of a great many businesses to face challenges when COVID hit. When restaurants and bars were forced to shut because of the pandemic, PAR found itself missing one of its main lines of work. Nonetheless, they braved the storm and continued to find work by servicing, shops, mortuaries and other essential workers who chose PAR’s refrigeration services because they saw the benefits of working with a family-run business. PAR played its part during the pandemic, supporting essential and key workers with the commercial refrigeration needs necessary to keep their own services running smoothly.

PAR work closely with Doncaster Rovers Football Club and recently they needed to get their cellar cooling system back up and running as soon as possible, as this venue has a capacity of 15,000 seats, with a large demand for chilled beer and ciders.
The refrigeration professionals at PAR acted with the urgency Doncaster needed, providing a swift and efficient service throughout. PAR replaced their old cellar cooling system with a brand new one that could meet the club’s beer needs with ease. Bringing years of experience and expertise to the table, PAR found the optimal cellar cooling model that would forever change the beer cooling operations of the Doncaster FC club.
