TM44 inspections are carried out to assess the energy efficiency of air conditioning units. Here at PAR, we can facilitate a TM44 assessment – that means we can arrange these inspections for customers across Yorkshire and the north of England.

TM44 inspections assess a building’s air conditioning systems to determine how efficient their energy consumption is. They must be carried out by a registered assessor, who will also consider how the system is being used and maintained.
Once the inspection has been carried out, the building owners will recieve a report detailing how a system’s efficiency, carbon footprint, and running costs can be improved.
TM44 inspections are required legally for any buildings with a combined cooling output of 12kW or more. It is essential for all building owners with premises meeting these criteria to organise a TM44 inspection, as they could face fines if they fail to do so.
If you’re not sure whether you need a TM44 inspection, check your commercial EPC’s energy efficiency rating; it may well be that your AC units are dragging your score down. We’re also more than happy to advise if you’d like to reach out to us.
